Shanghai is the best city in the world

I've lived in China for close to 8 months now, and will continue to live here until at least 2029 (though I will travel back to America during this time every so often). I think Shanghai is the best city in the world. I haven't traveled much yet, China is the first country I've been to after leaving the US, but Shanghai is a fusion of technological modernity and futurism as well as culture and history. It is an amazing and exciting city that many different kinds of people can find exciting in different ways. Having been to New York a lot, I would say that Shanghai completely puts it to shame. In fact, there is no city in the United States that can even remotely compare, and I'm saying this as an American. Shanghai feels like an exciting future to me. Everyone should visit it at some point to understand this.
